It all started in the most unexpected place the JC Riders 4-H club. We were just two kids, 8 and 9 years old, learning about animals, projects, and friendship. Back then, we didn’t know those early days would plant the seeds of something much bigger.

As we grew up, life took us in and out of each other’s worlds. There were crushes, glances, and years where we were “just friends,” but somehow, we always found our way back to one another. Our families even used to tease us, saying they could tell there was something special between us — and deep down, they were right.

Every fair season, you could always find us running from the sheep barn to the horse arena, cheering each other on no matter what. Whether it was ribbons or just a pat on the back, we always made sure to be there for one another. And when the work was done, we’d find each other at the fairgrounds and go on the rides together — laughing, spinning, and making memories that would last long after the midway lights faded.

Then came high school. She was a junior, he was a senior, and that old spark finally caught fire. What started as a young romance quickly became something real — built on years of shared laughter, dusty boots, and long days spent doing what we loved. From cheering each other on at rodeos to talking late into the night about the future, we grew up side by side, learning what love truly means.

Now, after graduating, growing, and chasing dreams, we’re beginning our next adventure: forever.

What started in a small 4-H club years ago has grown into a lifetime partnership — proof that sometimes, the best love stories are the ones that take their time to bloom.
